Terms & Conditions

The fine print, made plain.

Clear rules so you always know what to expect. Questions? Ask us before you book.

Last updated: 26 October 2026

1. Who we are

These terms apply to every shipment booked with Bah Transporters Ltd (company no. 14556620), “we” or “us”. By booking online, by phone, on WhatsApp or in person you agree to them. Contact us at info@bahtransporters.com or +44 7982 144203.

2. Bookings and references

When you book you receive a booking reference (for example GAM24OCT-C07). It identifies your shipment and the flight it is booked on. Please quote it whenever you contact us, drop off, collect or pay.

A booking reserves space on a flight. It becomes final once we have received, weighed and checked your shipment. You must give accurate sender and receiver names and phone numbers.

3. Prices and payment

  • Parcels are charged at £11.99 per kilogram, with a minimum charge of 1 kg per parcel. Anything under 1 kg is charged as 1 kg.
  • Documents are charged at a flat £15.00. Some items (for example phones) may carry an agreed flat handling charge.
  • For items we buy on your behalf, you pay the item cost plus shipping.
  • Prices shown when you book are estimates. Your final price is confirmed after we weigh your shipment.
  • Shipment costs must be paid before delivery or collection can be completed.
  • Collection and delivery services are priced separately and confirmed with you in advance.

4. Items we cannot carry

You must not send:

  • perishable items or food;
  • seeds or plants;
  • flammable liquids or perfumes;
  • narcotics;
  • firearms and accessories;
  • anything else restricted by airline, UK or Gambian customs rules.

We may refuse, open for inspection or return any shipment we reasonably believe breaks these rules. You are responsible for any costs, fines or delays caused by prohibited or undeclared items.

5. Packing, contents and customs

  • Pack your items securely, especially anything fragile. We may repack shipments to meet international airline rules.
  • Describe the contents and their value accurately; customs may require it.
  • You may choose to pay customs duties or taxes upfront, or the receiver may pay on arrival.
  • Check that the receiver’s name, phone number and any delivery address are correct to avoid delays.

6. Insurance and liability

Your items are not insured. Occasionally airlines may misplace or damage bags or items. We cannot be held liable if your items are lost or damaged.

Where an airline pays refund or compensation for lost or damaged items, we will refund their cost once we have received that refund or compensation from the airline, which can take up to 24 months.

7. Departure and arrival dates

We make every effort to keep to agreed departure and arrival dates, but external factors can affect scheduling. We do not accept responsibility for any failure to keep to agreed departure or arrival dates. If your flight changes, we will tell you as soon as we can.

8. Drop-off, collection and delivery

UK drop-off: 77 Melbourne Avenue, Newtown, Birmingham, B19 2HU, United Kingdom. Gambia pick-up: Nusrat Junction, Tallinding, The Gambia.

Receivers collect by quoting the booking reference. Where you ask us to post or deliver a shipment, we will confirm the cost before it is sent.

9. Refunds

Refunds can only be issued to the account that made the original payment. We cannot process refunds to third parties.

10. Your information

We use the details you give us to provide our service. See our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may change without notice. The version on this page applies to bookings made from the date shown above.
